The Kariminejad–Najmabadi Pathology and Genetics Center was founded in 1979 with the mission of diagnosing genetic disorders and providing the most advanced laboratory services to patients and healthcare professionals. Recognized as a comprehensive diagnostic complex, the center holds the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification from QAL UK and was the first laboratory in Iran accredited with ISO 15189:2012 by ASCB. Equipped with cutting-edge infrastructure, experienced faculty members, and a highly trained staff knowledgeable in the latest developments in genetics and modern diagnostic techniques, the center performs thousands of diagnostic tests each year. These include genetic disease screening, cancer diagnostics, prenatal testing, and carrier status determination. A wide range of clinical and genetic counseling services are also offered, continuously expanding to incorporate new tests in line with the latest scientific and laboratory advances.

As the first prenatal diagnostic center in Iran, the laboratory has consistently relied on a team of skilled technicians and specialists.
